_We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Coordinator and Dispatcher at our reputable electrical company. As a Coordinator and Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of our company by effectively coordinating and dispatching our field technicians_
- Responsibilities:_
- Coordinate and schedule the daily activities of our field technicians to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity_
- Receive and prioritize service requests from clients and assign them to the appropriate technicians based on skills, availability, and geographical location_
- Communicate with clients to provide updates on technician arrival times, service delays, and other relevant information_
- Monitor the progress of ongoing projects with project managers and provide timely updates to clients and management_
- Maintain accurate records of service requests, work orders, and technician assignments_
- Collaborate with the operations team and dept. manager to optimize resource allocation and ensure timely completion of projects_
- Address any concerns or issues raised by clients, technicians, or other persons in a professional and timely manner_
- Continuously work with management and staff to improve dispatching processes and procedures to enhance overall efficiency of the company_
- Requirements:_
- Proven experience as a coordinator and dispatcher, preferably in the electrical or related industry_
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively_
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients, technicians, and other team members_
- Proficient in using dispatching software and other relevant tools to manage technician schedules and assignments_
- Knowledge of electrical systems and terminology is an asset but not required_
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment_
- Problem-solving skills to address unexpected challenges and changes in a proactive manner_
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules_
- High attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and documentation_

**Salary**: $20.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:
