HR & Learning Content Specialist

Reporting to the Lead, Learning and Development, the **HR & Learning Content Specialist **will play a pivotal role in capturing and communicating Mevotech's processes and culture. The HR & Learning Content Specialist will be responsible for creating and designing learning and development programs and supporting the employment brand strategy. This may include managing learning content, preparing presentations, learning materials, and supporting internal employee communications that reinforce the company's learning culture.
**What you will be working on**:
- Create and design learning and development programs using a blended approach (i.e., classroom, online training solutions and one-on-one coaching) that aligns learning solutions with business objectives.
- Schedule and support instructor-led classroom learning and/or online learning according to specified schedules and learning plans.
- Track key performance indicators that measure the effectiveness of learning and development initiatives.
- Support, launch, and communicate training programs, both internal and external, to aid in building a learning culture.
- Evaluate the quality of the learning courses and recommend improvements that follow best practices in learning and development field.
- Work with key internal role-players to brainstorm content ideas, in line with the company's strategy and in support of various communication initiatives.
- Acquire and maintain a detailed knowledge of the company's policies, principles, and procedures, and keep up to date with recent developments.
- Research and recommend content that is evolving, exciting, and current.
- Research and recommend employee engagement programs and events to help drive engagement and commitment.
**What are we looking for?**
- 4+ years of experience in Learning and Development or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree with a major in Human Resources, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, and other Office Programs. Creative ability with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Self-motivated and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Travel expectations for training purposes
**Physical Demands & Working Conditions**
- Hybrid work arrangement (2 days on-site)
- Occasional travel between Mississauga and North York offices
