**Overview**

Are you passionate about food & beverage and are looking for an exciting job in the industry? David Carriere & Associates is a brewing & distilling supply company based in Canada looking to grow our sales team with a new Sales Development Representative in Quebec & Eastern Canada.This remote position involves executing a successful sales strategy to increase market share within the assigned territory. The role requires individual initiative and organisation while working in a team environment.
- DCA is active in the following segments:_

a) Supplying beverage producers (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and food processors with raw materials and packaging

b) Co-Packs dry products (pieces and powder) in their SQF-certified facility for institutional and retail clients

c) Offers R+D services to develop beverage and other food products

**Responsibilities**
- Support National Director of Sales and regional account managers in achieving revenue targets and meeting company sales and customers’ expectations.
- Manage customers’ inquiries, process sales orders and propose products based on understanding of customer needs, production requirements and stock availability.
- Help the company achieve excellence in customer service by maintaining prompt and clear communications with all customers and various stakeholders (Purchasing, Logistics, quality team etc).
- Support the sales team to ensure flawless execution including but not limited to processing sales orders in the ERP system, following up on inventory replenishment and purchasing requests and monitoring sales quotes to ensure timely conversion.
- Build target lists of prospective customers, generating/qualifying new leads, conduct outreach and book discovery calls for account managers.
- Maintain customer and product data in CRM and Inventory Management tools.
- Preparing weekly/monthly standard sales reporting and conducting sales and product analysis for management as needed.
- Communicate new product opportunities, industry trends and customer feedback to appropriate company staff.
- Support with day-to-day e-commerce operations (follow up on orders when applicable, product listings and highlight stock gaps.

**What we are looking for**:

- Post-secondary education is highly preferred.
- 1 year sales/business development and/or cold calling experience, customer facing.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge and experience in CRM
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to learn tools and software fast.
- Ability to adapt to a fast paced and pressured environment.
- Bi-lingual (French & English)
- Valid Driver’s licence (asset)

**DCA est actif dans les secteurs suivants**:

- Approvisionnement des producteurs de boissons (alcoolisées et non alcoolisées) et des transformateurs alimentaires en matières premières et emballages
- Emballage de produits secs (morceaux et poudre) dans leur installation certifiée SQF pour les clients institutionnels et de détail
- Offre des services de R&D pour développer des boissons et d'autres produits alimentaires

**Responsabilités**
- Soutenir le directeur national des ventes et les gestionnaires de comptes régionaux dans l'atteinte des objectifs de revenus et dans la satisfaction des ventes de l'entreprise et des attentes des clients.
- Atteindre et dépasser les mesures de performance basées sur les budgets de volume, la rentabilité, la pénétration, les objectifs d'efficacité pour une liste de clients assignés.
- Gérer les demandes des clients, traiter les commandes client et proposer des produits en fonction de la compréhension des besoins des clients, des exigences de production et de la disponibilité des stocks.
- Aider l'entreprise à atteindre l'excellence dans le service à la clientèle en maintenant des communications rapides et claires avec tous les clients et les différentes parties prenantes (achats, logistique, équipe qualité, etc.).
- Soutenir l'équipe de vente avec des activités de vente en cours pour assurer une exécution sans faille, y compris, mais sans s'y limiter, le traitement des commandes client dans le système ERP, le suivi du réapprovisionnement des stocks et des demandes d'achat et la surveillance des devis
