The UAH and Stollery Children’s Emergency Department is a busy tertiary care level I emergency department and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This large tertiary Trauma Centre provides opportunities in a broad base of emergency nursing from Pediatrics to Trauma Care. The Admin V provides support to the Emergency Department, Patient Care Manager, Supervisor, and Unit Managers. **Required Qualifications**:
Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).
**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Current BAU staffing office experience 2-5 years. Current ESP Scheduler Required. Recent ESP Advanced Scheduler Required. 2-5 yrs. Experience with AHS Payroll Required. A high school diploma and experience within a medical/hospital setting is required. Completion of some post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in office of business administration, medical office assistant). Knowledge and extensive experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Outlook Calendar management for department PCM and Unit Managers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary. An ability to work independently with mínimal direction is essential. Advanced RMS/Recruitment experience, 2-5yrs. Meeting Minute Taking, 2-5yrs. Advanced Collective Agreement knowledge. Advanced Abilities / HR knowledge, 2-5yrs.
