**What you will be doing**:
- **Sales Expertise**: Leverage your sales expertise to promote and sell home warranty plans to builders and developers.
- **Customer Relationships**: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service and understanding their unique needs.
- **Product Knowledge**: Become an expert on our home warranty products, features, and benefits to effectively communicate with potential clients.
- **Consultative Selling**: Use a consultative approach to assess clients’ needs and recommend the most suitable home warranty plans.
- **Market Research**: Stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and opponents to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-up actions using CRM software
**What you bring to the team**:
- Minimum of three (3) years of Sales experience in the insurance or home warranty industry.
- General Insurance License Level 1 or 2 required. Underwriting skills are considered an asset.
- Post-secondary education and/or CIP designation are considered an asset.
- Strong background and knowledge about the industry underwriting practices and market standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for on-site meetings with potential clients within the greater Edmonton area when required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with claims management software and MS Office Suite.
- High level of attention to detail, organization skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
