Job Description: As the Assistant Manager of our Trail Tire location in Edmonton, you will play a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day operations, managing staff, assisting customers, and ensuring the efficient delivery of tire-related services. Your primary responsibilities will include staff management, customer support, and tire inventory management. This position requires a strong focus on customer satisfaction, leadership skills, and tire industry knowledge.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the Store Manager in overseeing all aspects of the store's operations, ensuring efficient and smooth functioning
- Supervise and train staff members, providing guidance and support to optimize their performance
- Assist customers with tire-related inquiries, providing product recommendations, explaining services, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering and receiving tires, maintaining stock levels, and conducting regular stock audits
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry safety standards
- Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and a strong customer-centric culture
- Handle customer complaints and concerns, resolving issues in a timely and satisfactory manner
- Maintain a clean and organized store appearance, ensuring visual merchandising standards are met

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role, preferably in the tire or automotive industry
- Strong knowledge of tires, including different brands, sizes, and tire-related services
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to effectively assist customers and resolve issues
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on employee development and performance optimization
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with inventory management systems and point-of-sale software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff and customers
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in inventory management and order fulfillment
