PayEdge Banking Manager

**What is the opportunity?**

Reporting to the Senior Manager, PayEdge Compliance and Operations. This position is primary responsible for ensuring timely and accurate completion of transactions that require manual intervention such as but not limited to transfers/wires within RBC Express, online tax filing, AGLC payments. Additionally, this individual also works with the appropriate partners to investigate/trace payments as required and/or requested by clients. They provide support to client facing PayEdge staff around Banking/Transactional inquiries as well as investigations; escalate client concerns as appropriate to various partners such as IT, Product, and Compliance teams within PayEdge as well as external partner in a timely manner while keeping clients informed of next steps. Additionally, the incumbent is the first point of contact for the FSS (Finance) teams to keep PayEdge’s books reconciled as well as report revenue on a monthly basis. All responsibilities carried out in accordance with Code of Conduct, RBC Values and Guiding Principles ensuring adherence to Privacy Principles.

**What will you do?**
- Ensure daily completion of payment rejections, returns, and reversals ensuring PayEdge as well as client accounts are balanced
- Ensure month-end revenue and FSS reconciliation are completed and reported in a timely manner
- Handle escalations and any contentious issues affecting client service as 2nd level support to minimize or avoid client impact (ACH, wires, service issues etc.)
- Overseeing the Processing of transactions to client accounts with accuracy and in a timely manner using PayEdge Admin, RBC Express, OnDemand, Sales Platform, Intellitracs, Moneris, Helcim (Banking)
- Overseeing/managing team’s task of addressing payment inquiries using systems such as PayEdge Admin, Outlook generic mailboxes
- Approving transactions or changing previously submitted transactions within RBC Express such as transfers, wires, tax payments; as well as transactions in PayEdge Admin that require approval
- Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving banking requirements and assess potential impacts.
- Identify potential efficiency gains on an ongoing basis and maintain a continuous process efficiency mind set.
- Assist in the maintenance of documentation, appropriate recordkeeping, and due diligence in accordance with RBC and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure adherence to all established SLA and procedures to ensure on time and accurate completion of work as required by the business.
