**Themis Security **is looking for a Dispatch Operator to join our ever growing Team. We offer Interactive Remote Monitoring to our clients that requires a highly organized Dispatch Team in order to run smoothly.

Remote video patrols are a way of implementing and expanding on available technologies. Our custom designed software allows our Operations Support Unit (OSU) operators to log in to our client’s CCTV systems and view their cameras remotely. Based on their observations, operators will be able to take prescribed actions.

With our in-house technical and installation support personnel and the best response team in Victoria, Themis Security can continue to be the leader.

**Position Summary**:

- The operator observes and responds to video verified information being monitored from our own security control room.
- Answer incoming calls from Clients and staff and dispatch our mobile team as required
- Perform Lone Worker check-ins for our own staff and other clients as necessary

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Document dispatches, incidents and outcomes for review by Manager.
- Dispatch calls to proper contacts (911, mobile units, street patrol).
- Act as a main point of contact for Themis Security personnel, clients and alarm companies.
- Other affiliated duties related to the position or upon request from management.

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in security. Preference given to those with mobile experience.
- Preference given to those with experience in dispatch/communications/monitoring type settings or customer service related positions

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid/CPR
- Canadian citizenship or permanent residency (required)
- BC security license (required)

Schedule:

- Themis Security is a 24-hour operation. Shifts are based on rotational schedule covering all days of the week, including statutory holidays

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $21.00-$22.00 per hour
