**About the role**
We are hiring for a Researcher, International Institutions who will conduct research, establish effective working relationships, and will provide a high level of service to clients.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintains and conducts research on the institution and degree information in the International Institutions and Degrees database.
- Provides knowledge, research findings on international institutions and degrees database to our regulators.
- Supports the Manager, Foreign Credential Recognition.
- Assists in the development and maintenance of procedures, documents, files, databases, and other materials as required.
- Answers inquiries and provides information to regulators and the public about the licensure system in Canada.
**Education and Experience Requirements**
***Education**
- Graduate from a recognized University, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
**Experience**
- Minimum of (3) three years of experience providing administrative support.
**Key Competencies**
- Proficient in the use of Project Management principles, practices, and tools with a track record of delivering projects on time and on budget.
- Experience working with a wide diversity of cultures within staff, volunteers, clients, and community in general.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, problem-solving and time management skills.
**Desirable**
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office 365 Business, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
- Experience working in a professional association/not-for-profit organization
**Language**
- Proficiency in English is required. Proficiency in French is an asset.
**About our working conditions**
This is a full-time, contract position that is based out of our Ottawa head office.
There is a requirement to work three (3) days in a week from the office during the first three months and to occasionally work extra hours including weekends and evenings.
