**We are looking for an energetic, outgoing, self-directed professional to join our Clerical Team, working in our BC Cancer Breast Screening Office.**

This **permanent position is a part-time role**, with the possibility to pick up additional hours. This is a permanent Saturday shift. You will be reporting to the SMP Clerical Team Lead, your Key Responsibilities include:

- Provide excellent patient and customer relations by managing patient flow, inquiries, and visitors to the office,
- Manage incoming phone calls and expedite requests, book appointments, processing results, film requests, reports generation and general inquiries,
- Ensure patient information is complete and valid, with 100% accuracy,
- Remain up-to-date with procedures (computer, clerical and policies). Liaise with BC Cancer Breast Screening as necessary.

On the technical side, graduation from an approved MOA Program or equivalent work experience. Medical office and terminology experience an asset. Understanding of booking software, and operation of related equipment such as a computer, fax machine, photocopier, printers, and CD burners. Patient confidentiality must be followed without exception. Previous experience with PACS and RIS is an asset.
