Analyst, Global Mobility

**What you'll do...**:
1. Conduct Orientation Sessions: Organize and lead orientation sessions for TFWs, asylum seekers and their management, covering essential information about the work permit process, living and working in Canada as a TFW/asylum seeker.
2. Resource Development: Develop and distribute educational materials, such as guides, FAQs, and other communication channels, to assist TFWs/asylum seekers in understanding their rights and responsibilities regarding their work permits including navigating the Canadian Immigration process.
3. Workshops and Training: Plan and facilitate workshops for management and TFWs/asylum seekers regarding the work permit process, Canada Immigration including Federal and applicable provincial programs.
5. Liaison Services: When asked, act as a liaison between TFWs/asylum seekers and various stakeholders, including government agencies, and community organizations.
6. Critical need: Direct TFW/asylum seekers to the associate assistance program when faced with personal situations (medical, mental health, financial assistance, etc), ensuring TFWs receive appropriate assistance.
7. Policy and Regulation Knowledge: Stay updated on Canadian immigration laws, policies, and regulations affecting TFWs/asylum seekers, and ensure compliance within the organization.
8. Advisory Role: Provide support to TFWs/asylum seekers on matters related to immigration legislation including who to contact, where to get more information).
9. Best Practices: Develop, implement and contribute to best practices for supporting TFWs/asylum seekers, ensuring they have the information they need to enhance their well-being and integration into their local community.
10 Regular Updates: Communicate regularly with management, TFWs/asylum seekers to keep them informed about any changes in policies or procedures that may affect them.
11. Compliance and Reporting: Maintain compliance and accurate records and prepare reports on the status of TFWs/asylum seekers, providing insights and recommendations to management.
12. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments and external organizations to enhance support services for TFWs.

**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Social Work, Law, or a related field, is preferred but not required
- Experience in HR and/or project management
- Personal experience being a Temporary Foreign Worker as well as undergoing the Canadian Permanent Residency process is preferred
- Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Empathy and Cultural Sensitivity: Ability to interact with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds with empathy and understanding.
