- **Role Purpose**:_

**This is a part-time contract position filling in for maternity leave coverage.** The Office Administrator is responsible for carrying out office support tasks to assist in keeping the organization running smoothly.
Flexibility and a knack for multitasking are critical. We’re looking for an eager office administrator to support our staff in our ever-growing business. We are a small company, so we require someone who is self-motivated and able to work on their own majority of the time.

**Education**:

- Grade 12 level of education or GED equivalence

**Experience**:

- Has used and knowledgeable with Sage Accounting
- 2 years experiencing working as an Office Administrator
- Can speak English fluently
- Some knowledge in the construction/utility industry would be useful

Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):

- Weekly payroll on Sage
- Requesting utility locates when required by specific jobs
- Working with supervisor to schedule upcoming jobs
- Can assist in the day to day operations of our office administration
- Working closely with the other office administrator to make sure the back end runs smoothly
- Organizing and servicing monthly meetings
- Filing and maintain files in a confidential manner
- Assist upper management with any requests
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of all information which flows through the office for all Soil Vac staff

**Job Requirements**:

- A strong background in customer service
- Meticulously organized and have good time management skills
- Ability to multitask well
- Proficient in Microsoft work, excel and outlook
- Basic knowledge of accounting and procedures
- Friendly and outgoing
- Great communication skills
- Willingness to learn and increase their knowledge base
- A good understanding of Brampton and the surrounding areas, so they can transition crews quickly as work evolves throughout the day

**Work Hours**
- 7am to 3:30pm
- Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

**Terms of Employment**: In office, Part Time, Contract. The duration of this contract will be April 2023 until January 2023 to cover a Maternity Leave. Possibility of extension based on business requirements.

**Work Location**: The main offices are located in Brampton, ON.
