**Temporary General Office/Facilities Support**
We are currently seeking a energetic temporary Assistant to join Fogler, Rubinoff LLP as General Office/Facilities Support. This is a contract position from **September 16 to December 31, 2024.**
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Occasional pre-authorized overtime may be required to meet the needs of the Firm. This role requires being on site 5 days per week.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Assist with retrieving boxes and files from various floors and delivering them to our Records Department;
- Provide support with the organization and moving of files;
- Take inventory of files;
- Assist with internal office moves and relocations;
- Scanning files and storing in electronic document management systems;
- Assisting with the destruction of paper files; and
- Other tasks as required.
**Required Skills & Experience**:
- Past experience in a professional services office enviroment would be considered an asset;
- General knowledge of office administration procedures and practices;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook);
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to take initiative and take direction; and
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment.
**Required Physical Ability**:
This position requires moderate to considerable physical activity, including but not limited to:
- Frequently standing or walking for extended periods, climbing ladders, bending, twisting, and squatting;
- Frequently lifting up to 10 lbs, sometimes required to lift up to 40 lbs;
- Regularly operate small office equipment such as a computer, tablet, and copier/printer, telephone; and
- Regularly requires manual dexterity speed and hand/eye coordination for work at a computer.
