What’s it like working as a Paid Social Specialist at Questrade?
The Paid Social Specialist is an important member of the Integrated Media team, responsible for activating campaigns across paid social channels against meaningful insights with the goal of driving measurable results.
Responsibilities will include supporting the full funnel channel strategy, activating go-to-market tactical plans, monitoring active campaigns, and deriving valuable reporting insights to ensure business objectives and KPI’s are being met.

**In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
Strategy & Planning
- Assist the Senior Social Specialist in the development and organization of supportive data for paid social plans and recommendations
- Produce recurring detailed competitive analysis, monitor competitor trends within paid social; inclusive of creatives, formats, channels, etc.
Execution
- Responsible for building approved full funnel campaigns across various social channels; inclusive of ad trafficking, audience targeting, assigning budgets and creative builds
- Ensure all go-to-market documentation is tracked and updated throughout the campaign
Optimization & Reporting
- Compile data across all ads managers and share weekly reporting insights and optimizations
- Generate quarterly or end of campaign insights and learnings to improve future strategies
- Collaborate with external partners on strategic recommendations and ongoing campaign optimizations
- Be a paid social expert for execution and innovation and ensure knowledge and resource sharing across the marketing team
So are YOU our next Fraud Analyst ? You are if you
- Have 1-2 years of hands-on experience leading the execution of paid media campaigns with a proven track record of performance against KPIs
- Bachelor's degree; degree or concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, and communications preferred
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, specifically a strong expertise in MS Excel/Google Sheets
- Have experience with Meta Ads Manager or any paid social ads managers
- Have fundamental understanding of media planning and buying
- Are passionate about working with current social media platforms & up to date on emerging platforms
- Strong quantitative skills, including analytical abilities
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities
- Detail oriented and organized
- Solid verbal and written communication skills; including robust relationship skills with the ability to participate and engage in meetings
Additional kudos if you
- Meta Digital Marketing and/or Media Buying Certifications, Pinterest Academy Certification, Reddit Ads Certifications, TikTok Business Learning Center
- Experience launching new brands, products, and/or ad accounts
- Experience and/or personal interest in the financial industry
- Understanding of pixel conversion events, app tracking, and Conversions API
- Experience with media tracking tools (ie. Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, etc.)
- Experience with visualization and reporting tools (ie. Data Studio, Google Sheets, Tableau, Excel)
- Experience with project management tools (ie. ClickUp)
