**What can I expect in this role?**

**You will**:
Perform routine maintenance on equipment. EX: inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters

Complete other preventative maintenance actions within the building.

Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.

Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices.

Order parts, supplies, or equipment from catalogs or suppliers.

Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.

Estimate costs to repair machinery, equipment, or building structures.

Align and balance new equipment after installation.

Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work.

Attend safety training as directed.

Organize and maintain a clean consumable area.

Manage the sign in/out of tools

Ensure working environment is clean.

Ability to coordinate with fellow workers

Complete weekly timesheets

**What is the working environment like?**

**Working Conditions**

This position includes:

- Working in the shop at 406 Harmony Rd, Ayr
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time

**Requirements**:

- Worker Health and Safety in 4 Steps
- Driver’s License

Transportation
- Public transit is not available

This is a Permanent Fulltime position. Hours of work are flexible and will range between 30-44 hours/week. Pay is based on experience and ability. The pay range is $25-28/hour.

**Salary**: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
