**Required Knowledge and Skills**
- Minimum 2 years experience in a Manufacturing Environment

- Ability to effectively work with and direct others.
- Ability to lead and motivate others
- Ability to perform all production related tasks in plant

**Job Requirements**
- Oversee hour to hour/day to day operation of assigned Area
- Oversee all aspects of production, working with others, to ensure optimal production flow and efficiencies, eliminating or reducing downtime whenever possible. Participate in all areas of production as needed and assign personnel to various tasks as warranted by production requirements. Work with plant manager to achieve desired production efficiency levels
- Ensure Incident and Accident reports are completed in a timely manner for functional areas (24hrs), investigate and facilitate appropriate actions
- Monitor team performance and report on metrics. Ensure that all targets are achieved, and have suitable reasons when targets are not met
- Performance meetings with employees up to and including discipline as per policies and procedures
- Motivate team members to ensure team's performance will achieve targets
- Ensure any tools, equipment, material shortages are communicated and ensure orders are placed to restore inventory.
- Report poor equipment performance or failures to plant manager and/or maintenance.
- Report and investigate all First Aid related issues
- Verify that housekeeping and GMP requirements are met by team members; tools are returned to proper locations and the work environment is clean and orderly. Ensure all equipment and Forklift trucks are properly cleaned.
- Co-coordinating with departments and scheduling to ensure all material is ready for the next job.
- Make certain that all employees are following the safety policies
- Ensure schedule is followed and completed. Communicate any issues if unable to do so
- Communicate with Plant Manager & Scheduler to keep current with changing production requirements
- Ensure all applicable quality procedures and related work instructions are followed working as per ISO
- Perform inspection on product in a timely manner. Verify inspections are properly documented. Verify the specifications or used in accordance to guidelines by team members
- Follow control of Nonconforming Product and Corrective Action procedures for N/C product
- Effectively communicate and work with forklift operators, scheduler and plant managers to facilitate product flow and production requirements
- Anticipate problem areas and proactively resolve areas of concern.
- Monitor employee performance and provide support as needed
- Work with plant manager to identify training needs
- Train new employees as required
- Participate in training as required and perform other duties as assigned
- Assist plant manager with payroll, production reports, inventory reports and quality management as assigned
- Complete Daily Audits - Quality, Housekeeping, Safety, Production

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$58,000.00 per year
