Event Planner

**Position Title**: Event Planner

**Reporting to**: Executive Director, Bethany Mejia

**Position Start Date**:July 1st 2024

**Position End Date**:August 24th 2024

**Days / Hours of Placement**:35 hours weekly; remotely and during office hours

**Hourly Wage**: $16.55 per hour

**Position Specialties**: Event Planning

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Providing event planning services and assistance
- Support East London Canada Day activities and I Heart Argyle activities and other events as required
- Engaging BIA members to participate in the events that the Argyle BIA is providing to the community
- Provide assistance in the I Heart Argyle social media campaign
- Provide youth engagement in the BIA with its activities
- Digital marketing assistance
- Administrative support
- Volunteer recruitment for yearly BIA activities
- Perform other duties as required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: Hybrid remote in London, ON N5W 3E6
