Materials planner manages the logistics of materials and inventory. They perform cycle counts and plan material to ensure proper stocking levels in each department. Primary responsibility is the cycle counting and data management integrity of the JD Edwards operating system.

**Responsibilities**:
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
- Coordinate information on parts based on sales.
- Maintain data integrity in company operating system for manufactured parts.
- Primary contact on setting up part numbers company operating system for manufactured parts.
- Update safety stock, lead times and stocking type as needed.
- Cycle counting manufactured and purchased items.
- Support production part needs by responding to buyer requests.
- Prepare reports for inventory manager and material planning manager to analyze.

**Minimum Qualification**:

- Skilled in Microsoft Excel
- 3-plus years of related work experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Individual must be a self-starter, flexible, highly organized.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Understand and able to navigate through JD Edwards.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
