Position Overview:
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement sales and distribution strategies to achieve organizational goals.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
Set sales and distribution targets and KPIs in alignment with business objectives.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales and distribution teams to enhance performance and achieve targets.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Identify training needs and organize professional development programs.
2. Sales Operations:
Oversee daily sales operations and ensure smooth functioning.
Manage key accounts and build strong, long-term customer relationships.
Coordinate with other departments (e.g., marketing, product development) to optimize sales efforts.
3. Distribution Management:
Oversee the distribution network to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
Manage relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
4. Financial Management:
Prepare and manage the sales and distribution budget.
Monitor sales and distribution expenses and implement cost-saving measures.
Analyze sales and distribution data to make informed business decisions and forecast future sales.
5. Customer Relationship Management:
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Address and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly.
Develop strategies to expand the customer base and increase market share.
**Reporting**:
Generate regular reports on sales and distribution performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
Present sales and distribution updates and forecasts to senior management.
Use CRM and ERP software to track sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Proven experience in a senior sales and distribution management role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
Proficient in CRM, ERP software, and MS Office Suite.
Strong understanding of sales and distribution performance metrics and processes.
Ability to travel as needed.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to analyze financial data and create budgets
- Knowledge of industry regulations and market trends
