**Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- Undergraduate Degree in International Development, Education, or related field in Social Sciences
- Master's Degree in International Development, Education, or related field in Social Sciences preferred

**Experience**:

- 3 years of related experience working with students and international programs
- Previous international work, study, volunteer or cross-cultural experience
- Ability to speak, read and write in a second language is prefered
- Previous experience in a University environment working with students preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- Knowledge of post-secondary programs, protocols and processes, particularly as they relate to admissions, course credit transfer and student registration in an international context
- Highly developed cross cultural knowledge and understanding of intercultural considerations and cultural adjustment process. Proven ability to assess issues promptly, intervene and problem solve to support a positive student experience
- Demonstrated experience delivering risk management, pre-departure and re entry programming, presentations and training sessions
- Intermediate understanding of immigration procedures for incoming and outgoing students
- Ability to effectively manage social media platforms, communication and engagement for student populations
- Demonstrated strong customer service orientation to handle enquiries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner
- Proven strong ability to assess the needs and expectations of a diverse clientele, advise students, make referrals.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with strict and conflicting deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Strong relationship management, influencing and collaboration skills with proven ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Proven ability to respond effectively to high stress, crisis or emergency situations dealing with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to manage volunteers and implement training programs
- Proven ability to evaluate programs and implement necessary changes
- Intermediate level of experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), web design software such as Cascade, Database and CRM experience (PeopleSoft and Symplicy/Horizons preferred)
