**The Opportunity**:
Flexographic Printer Operator

We are currently looking for a Flexographic Print Operator to join our team. This is a full-time permanent position located in Whitby, Ontario. Your primary responsibility will be to operate a brand-new flexographic printing press for a high volume packaging company in a team environment.

Objectives:

- Setup jobs and operate 10 colour flexo press, adjust machine based on job specification
- Achieve company and client quality expectations
- Meet and respect productivity and quality standards
- Maintain equipment to ensure high quality printing
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to work on a tight timeline
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills are required
- Collaborate with Press Assistants to provide supplies, perform changeovers and cleaning, as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 3 years’ printing experience
- Water-based and/or solvent-based ink handling experience
- Comfortable with measurements in imperial and metric systems
- Mechanically inclined and a logical thinker
- Able to work in a fast-past team environment

**What do you need to bring to the table?**
- ((Must have 5 years' experience working on a Flexographic printer))
- High school diploma
- Ability to work shifts
- Support over-time as needed
- Desire to learn and grow
- Mechanical aptitude
- 5 years' experience working on a Flexographic printer
- Thorough understanding of plate mounting, ink handling,

color correction, print trapping and registration
- Adept at print troubleshooting
- Work safely, abide by and promote established safety policies and procedures
