A chain of locally owned Auto Body Repair Facilities in Central Alberta is looking for an Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper to assist the Controller in the accounting department. We are a customer service-driven, detail-oriented, innovative company that creates opportunities for individuals to grow and contribute to the expansion of our brand. We are looking for professional people to join our team and help us achieve our goals.
The Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper opportunity is located at our Red Deer North Facility, 7932 49th Ave.
The Role:
- Assist the Controller in the day-to-day accounting operations
- Complete and submit repair orders for invoicing to Insurance Companies
- Assist in the centralization of administrative tasks throughout several locations
- Assist in Accounts Payable/Receivable
- Help cover Customer Service Representative's positions during an absence
- Have exceptional communication skills; including the ability to listen and be clear, tactful, sensitive, and persuasive when interacting with customers, peers, and stakeholders.
- Be results-driven with exceptional organizational and execution skills
- Have the ability to work independently or as part of a team; manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
- Have experience in Quickbooks or Sage
- Experience in the Auto Body Industry is an advantage but not a requirement
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week
**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour
