**Job Title**

Manager, Creditor Products
- Manage the development and production of monthly financial management reports specific to creditor and travel insurance products including performance metrics.
- Manage the process of remitting and reporting monthly creditor insurance premium and sales tax collections to partner insurers in excess of $80 million per month, including with FSS partners and other stakeholders.
- Participate in the development and production of the annual financial plan, quarterly forecasts, and expense budgets of the Creditor and Travel businesses, using drivers and trends to identify values and opportunities. Support Insurance Finance colleagues with preparation and modelling of Canadian Insurance business Plans.
- Develop and maintain complex product forecasting models.
- Support the assessment and development of initiatives, business proposals, strategies, and (financial) data request of the Canadian Insurance Business division.
- Provide proactive and value-added advice to support the development, implementation and execution of the Creditor Business Strategy by enhancing transparency of drivers underlying Creditor performance.
- Support strong governance and internal controls framework through performance of controls, maintaining EUDAs and responding to internal and external audit requests.

**Must Have**
- Post-secondary education and completion of a recognized professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA) or equivalent experience.
- Insurance industry experience and knowledge to provide the level of expertise and advice required in the role.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong competencies in teamwork and cooperation.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and prioritization skills.

**Authorities, Impact, Risk**
- Key position to recommend accounting and reporting policy related to new or enhanced financial systems or product implementations. Impact and risk related to having the correct metrics in place for the senior management team to identify and be pro-active to trends in the business.
- Scope of the function is all encompassing support of financial implications across all business departments within Creditor Insurance and Travel Insurance. Impact and risk related to identifying potential risks to financial plans or business process requirements that may jeopardize the company’s financial health.
- Support IFRS 17 Transition Team with adoption of standard and reporting of comparative period balances.
- Key finance contact for explaining financial and key driver results and the development of financial plans and forecasts for creditor insurance products i.e., **Premium Collections, **Insurance NIE**, **Insurance FTE and insurance operations FTE.**

**Key Relationships**
- To enhance planning, forecasting and driver-based analysis, key relationships include senior product managers within the Canadian Insurance Business division as well as banking finance partners within CB Finance.
- To ensure accurate monthly reporting, liaising with creditor insurance finance, FSS and group business markets business partners.
- To provide timely evidence to internal and external auditors to support RBCI audit engagements.

**Working Conditions**
- Work environment is face-paced, dynamic and requires continuously meeting multiple demands and conflicting priorities. Somewhat high stress since most of the work output is for senior management and executive leaders. Often environment of multiple deadlines including monthly reporting, analysis, forecasting and planning, presentations and business initiative support. Often the reports and presentation documents are provided to or used by senior executive of RBC Insurance hence attention to detail is very important.

- Support initiatives, process improvements, strengthen governance and other projects - 20%
