**Job Description**:
**Health Club Supervisor**
Fostering the health and wellbeing of our guests, visitors and Colleagues is an integral part of our Fairmont Hotels & Resorts culture. We invite you to bring your passion and initiative to our facility as Health Club Supervisor and share your enthusiasm with members, guests and your team in support of a healthy lifestyle
**What you will be doing**:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Supervise the day to day operation of the Health Club and ensure all guests have a safe and enjoyable experience
- Maintain the weight and cardiovascular fitness areas, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly and used according to the rules of the facility
- Organize and promote guest and member fitness programs and activities
- Ensure guests are provided with proper instruction on the use of equipment and fitness information
- Ensure all attendance records are accurate and guests are registered according to standards
- Supervise and lead Health Club Attendants
- Promote the facility and organize special events as required
- Ensure the Health Club area is clean and well maintained
- Conduct regular inventory of operational and retail supplies
- Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**:
**Your experience and skills include**:
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
- Highly responsible and reliable
- Previous experience in a Health Club preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification is an asset
**Physical aspects include but are not limited to**:
- Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
- Occasional lifting and carrying up to 40+ lbs
- Frequent bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
