Real Estate Transaction Specialist
We're seeking a fun, organized, positive self-starter who absolutely adores taking care of others while working independently. If any of the below resonates with you, we want to know you
- Paperwork is the worst For real, you’ll hear that a lot. While we’re awesome in the real estate space, we need help with organization, file management, and all the paperwork that comes with it. If you enjoy digitizing, organizing, and automating simple tasks, well then we have something that will really **Fire You Up**:
- Attetnion to detail is your jam. Does that typo give you an eye twitch you know you won’t be able to shake because it’ll forever be on the interweb? The delicate and legal nature of real estate comes in the form of contracts, data entry, tasks, deadlines, and more paperwork did I lose you? Have your eyes glossed over? If so, this isn’t for you. **But**, if you enjoy perfection in the details and don’t mind taking the extra minute to double-check your work, let’s talk.
- Google it. Seriously, there are loads of tutorials and information on the web. What does that mean to you? You’ll assume someone who’s an expert in Excel is not me. That expert has likely created a YouTube video telling you all the things you need to know. We want someone who comes with solutions, not problems. Although we’re happy to help and support you, there’s loads of information out there that will help speed up the process without making us, the busy agents, a bottleneck to progress.
- Of course, there are some generic must-haves regarding what we expect to happen in an admin position (insert generic job description here). Things like multitasking, answering phones, knowing how to operate a computer, the obvious stuff.
- As you can tell, we have a sense of humor and a light-hearted Team culture. We don’t want drama or inconsistent/ unreliable behavior. Did your dog insult you over the weekend by talking behind your back to the neighbor's cat? We don’t want to hear about it all day. Share it as a funny story, sure, but don’t make your dog’s problems our problem. Nobody's got time for that except maybe your dog, but what else is it going to do all day?
So if you can show up with an abundant and healthy mindset on time and consistently, you’ll love working with us.
**Compensation**:
$37,000 - $45,000 yearly
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage Listing and Buying Contracts
- Process commission and deal deposits
- Process invoice payments
- Organization of Listing/Pending and Closed files (online)
- Transaction Management
- Maintaining Follow-Up Boss, Skyslope, and other database automations
- Managing checklists on Trello
- Answer the phone and direct clients to the appropriate agent
- Greet clients as they enter the building-seat them-ask them if they would like a beverage and notify the agent
- Assist with other Admin tasks as needed
- Order Client Gifts when requests
- Track and order office supplies as needed
- Order Drinks/Coffee/Office supplies and tidy as needed
- Year end-File Boxes (online)
**Qualifications**:
- You have 2+ years of experience in an administrative capacity (Real Estate preferred)
- History of achieving and consistently exceeding personal goals and working well with a Team
- Bachelor's degree or graduation from a two-year college program in a related discipline is preferred but not required
