**The Role**

We’re looking for a detail-oriented **Production Coordinator** to support in the planning, organization & execution of both media and digital learning/web projects. The **Production Coordinator** reports to the Production Manager and will work closely with other members of the Sandbox team.

Specifically, the role involves:
**Project Management Support (30%)**
- Populating, updating and maintaining projects and task lists in project management software
- Drafting project plans & timelines
- Maintaining project folders & documentation
- Packaging of final project materials

**Company-wide Organizational and Communication Support (25%)**
- Scheduling internal and external meetings, preparing agendas & taking meeting minutes
- Maintaining management team schedules

**Live Action Production Coordination (20%)**
- Supporting the Production Manager in the planning and execution of live-action video shoots including:

- Location research
- Creating casting calls for on-camera and voice over talent
- Conducting outreach to video participants & interviews
- Drafting shoot schedules
- Equipment rentals
- Creating call sheets
- Collecting release forms
- Offering on-set production assistance when needed

**Quality Assurance & Content Support (15%)**
- Reviewing written, video and graphic materials to ensure accuracy and consistency with approved content (eg. cross referencing a website with web copy document)
- Conducting quality assurance on caption files, transcripts and other project documents

**Process Maintenance & Improvement (10%)**
- Supporting the PM with data management, including backups of all footage from productions
- Supporting in the PM in media licensing, documentation & tracking
- Under the guidance of the PM, conducting research into tools to support & improve processes

**What You Bring to the Table**
- You have a minimum of 2 years of work experience in the media production industry, ideally with experience in live action production
- You have excellent writing and oral communication skills
- You are extremely organized, detailed oriented and have great time management skills
- You have experience creating and/or maintaining schedules and work plans
- You have experience with file management, note taking and other administrative tasks
- You have some knowledge of media production workflows and processes
- You have an interest in digital learning and web/product development
- You are a proactive problem solver who can work independently to bring solutions to the table
- You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and contributing to multiple projects simultaneously
- You have completed a university degree, a college diploma, an industry certification, or other training equipping you with skills relevant to the opportunity

**Location**

The offices of Sandbox Inc. are located in downtown Toronto, just south of Trinity Bellwoods park. Our team currently operates on a hybrid model, with some days in the office and some days remote.
