**Job responsibilities**
- Provide direction and oversight to team of Funding and Documentation Representatives, including goal setting and performance assessment and feedback
- Coach, mentor, develop and inspire team of Funding and Documentation Representatives
- Communicate and manage change with a team
- Monitor and report on team KPI’s and SLA’s
- Plan, organize and direct the verification activities related to leases received for funding
- Monitor and authorize transactions prepared by others ensuring scheduled assignments meet critical processing and/or reporting deadlines
- Manage the funding and processing for the department according to procedures and practices, ensuring the resolution of operational issues and taking appropriate actions to prevent recurrence, escalating issues, obstacles and trends, as appropriate, with recommendations /possible solutions in a timely manner
- Ensure all exception situations are well documented by Funding and Documentation Representatives
- Ensure records are maintained and monitored
- Oversee the administration, publishing and maintenance of the document library for policies, procedures, process flows and related supporting documents
- Assist in the creation of policy and procedure training manuals and support for the department

**Qualifications, knowledge and experience**

- Works well under pressure to meet ongoing and overlapping deadlines within short time constraints
- Effective leadership, coaching and mentoring capabilities in a high performing team environment
- Ability to lead and motivate a team towards performance objectives
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
- You are detail oriented and able to identify errors
- Advanced ability to manage and prioritize a complex workload while adhering to performance goals
- High self-management capabilities
- Results driven and action oriented
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office products
- 3+ years of relevant experience leading a team
- Experience in the finance and leasing industry is an asset
- Post-secondary diploma or bachelor’s degree is an asset
