GardaWorld is looking for a Project Manager for our Learning Centre of Excellence. The Project Manager, Learning & Development, is the glue that binds our many exciting L&D projects together. This dynamic individual is primarily responsible for tracking, monitoring and reporting on all major L&D projects ranging from learning systems launches to eLearning content development and delivery. This individual will perform liaising functions with the stakeholders responsible for L&D projects within the calendar to ensure timely completion. Taking the time to understand the strategic vision, varying business unit needs, project goals and technical constraints will be key.

This includes, but is not limited to, course design and development, learning systems provision and support, and upholding L&D standards of excellence and quality assurance.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Participate in project charter creation for new projects (creation of strategic objectives, defining success criteria);
- Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, reinforcing quality and performance standards and assessing risks;
- Follow project lifecycle milestones and activities to ensure timely completion;
- Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables;
- Follow up on outstanding tasks, manage/mitigate risks in the project escalating issues if, and when necessary, with internal and external stakeholders;
- Schedule meetings with internal stakeholders and external vendors as needed;
- Facilitate meetings, document the discussion, communicate in a timely manner, and follow up on actions for completeness prior to the next meeting;
- Document current process inefficiencies and facilitate the creation of new processes to solve identified problems;
- Support in the creation and update of budget documentation;
- Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and work with team members and management to escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan.

**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Undergraduate degree in a technology, business or related discipline or equivalent work experience;
- 4+ years of experience within project management roles;
- Experience with the management of risks, changes, issues, time, scope, resources, budget, and quality;
- Proven team player with a positive, proactive attitude and fantastic interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to inspire employees and bring out the best in the team;
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to change while remaining focused on strategic objectives;
- An extreme attention to detail and effective time management skills are necessary since the environment is fast-paced and in constant evolution;
- Experience working with project tracking software platforms, such as Asana and Sharepoint;
- Experience in eLearning LMS tools and platforms, ideally Absorb, an asset
- Fluency in English and French, oral and written.
