**Research Project Coordinator - Full Time**

**Kidney Transplant Research**
The Project Coordinator works in collaboration with the Principal Investigator and Project Director on initiatives aimed at enhancing access to kidney transplantation, particularly for Indigenous Peoples and other marginalized communities experiencing kidney failure. This role is actively involved in the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of projects, supporting team efforts with internal and external partners to achieve project objectives and deliverables. You may coordinate one or more simultaneous projects, varying in size and scope in a complex and changing multidisciplinary environment.
**What You’ll Do**
- Coordinate the execution of complex projects, paying close attention to work and time efficiencies, maintain protocol adherence, and conformance to applicable institutional and regulatory policies.
- Facilitate project planning, implementation and evaluation of ongoing initiatives. Conduct literature reviews, identify, collect, and analyze project information, provide input and make evidence-based recommendations to project team.
- Support the development of educational materials and knowledge translation outputs for a wide range of audiences, including academic presentations and manuscript.
- Maintain regular communication with the Principal Investigator and Project Director, providing timely updates on study progress and key milestones.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including meeting minutes, agendas, logistics, project deliverables, and other relevant materials as assigned.
- Engage professionally with a wide range of stakeholders and community partners and foster collaborative working relationships.
- Uphold ethical policies, procedures, and privacy legislation as appropriate.
- Preform other duties as assigned.
**What You Bring**
Education, Training & Experience:
- Master’s degree in health science, public health, social sciences or related field preferred. Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline required.
- 2 years’ experience as a research assistant, research coordinator, or project coordinator in a health, social services, government, or community organization.
- A combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
Skills & Abilities:
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Strong time management, organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A high level of resourcefulness and ability to work cohesively in a team and independently.
- Excellent spoken and written English language skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgement and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; ability to learn new software/databases as needed.
