Job DescriptionHigh-quality and affordable childcare is a priority for parents. The YWCA operates four early learning and childcare centres across Metro Vancouver to meet families’ needs. This position provides administrative support to our childcare operations.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Report directly to Manger, Childcare Operations, and work closely with Childcare Operations Coordinator to ensure smooth operations of our centre centres.
- Respond to waitlist inquiries and program registration and manage waitlist database.
- Assist Manager to collect centre statistics and compile monthly reports
- Assist with centre supplies and equipment purchases and distribution.
- Assist with leadership team meeting scheduling and minutes taking
- Provides administrative support to hiring and on
- boarding
- Collect and maintain records of staff qualifications/certifications, and schedule reminders to staff for renewals
- Maintain on-call staff list and assist with scheduling of on-call staff as needed
- Provide coordination and logístical support to professional development training and team building events for staff / centres
- Assist to arrange regular and minor maintenance work (e.g. handyman related work)
- Assist implementation of annual evaluation plan, including collection of data, compile report.
- Upkeep of program cloud-based filing system and databases.

**What you’ll need**:

- Previous administrative experiences
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Childcare sector experiences an asset
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to be flexible when priorities shift
- Good time management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Outlook Excel and Power Point, Office 365 including SharePoint, OneDrive, Forms and Teams
- Ability to work independently
- A valid clear criminal record check (including working with vulnerable populations) is required.
