We are currently looking for a Receiver at our Distribution Centre to join our dynamic team.

**As a Receiver, you will**:

- Unload trucks, count and inspect cargo, check the load against transportation documents
- Receive, inspect and process a variety of supplies and goods
- Verify receipts and packing slips to ensure accuracy, quality and update our inventory system
- Enter and process vendor orders in our warehouse management system in an efficient and timely manner
- Receive, store, organize and rotate goods utilizing proper storage methods and procedures
- Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment
- Maintain storage areas and warehouse equipment in a clean, orderly and safe manner
- Comply with all procedures, rules and regulations

**You will accomplish this by**:

- Conducting yourself in a mature, professional, friendly manner at all times
- Emphasizing open, honest and positive communication
- Planning, organizing and multi-tasking at a quick pace while ensuring accuracy
- Protecting company assets, monies and confidential documentation
- Understanding and following warehouse operational methods, procedures, policies, rules and regulations
- Maintaining high safety standard

**Who You Are**:

- You have experience as a Receiver including warehouse and / or handling inventory
- You have an understanding of warehouse operational methods, procedures, policies, rules and regulations
- You have ability to communicate professionally and proficiently - verbal and written
- You have a valid forklift certificate
- You have the ability to make accurate mathematical calculations
- You are highly organized, including the ability to re-prioritize workload and adapt to changing circumstances
- You are reliable and punctual
- You are self motivated, show initiative, proactive and can work with mínimal supervision
- You are detail oriented and possess strong follow through skill
- You are able to safely operate tools, equipment and technology
- You are detail oriented and able to maintain accurate documentation and records
- You have previous experience in a warehouse setting handling inventory
