**The role**

The Director of Information and Data Management plays a crucial role in leading and managing the organization's information and data assets. This role involves developing and implementing strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the effective collection, storage, analysis, and dissemination of data across the organization. The Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making and drive continuous improvement in information management practices.

**The responsibilities**
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives. Establish data governance frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure the integrity, security, and privacy of data assets.
- Design and maintain scalable and efficient data architecture and infrastructure to support the organization's data needs. This includes database management systems, data warehouses, data lakes, and other data storage solutions.
- Define and enforce data quality standards and procedures to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across systems and processes. Implement data quality monitoring and improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify data analytics requirements and develop data-driven insights to support decision-making and business performance. Lead the development and deployment of advanced analytics solutions.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of data integration processes, including Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) workflows, to ensure seamless data flow across systems and platforms.
- Lead and mentor a team of data management professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the team.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors, consultants, and other stakeholders involved in information and data management initiatives. Coordinate vendor selection, contracting, and performance evaluation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies related to data management, security, and privacy. Implement appropriate risk management practices to mitigate data-related risks.
- Drive change management initiatives to promote data-driven decision-making and adoption of data management best practices across the organization.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to foster understanding and buy-in for data initiatives.

**The requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in information and data management, with a minimum of 10 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of data management concepts, techniques, and best practices, including data governance, data modeling, data quality management, and data integration.
- Experience with data analytics tools and techniques, such as data visualization, predictive analytics, and machine learning.
- Proficiency in database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and data warehousing solutions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CDMP, CIMP) are desirable.
