- Reporting to the Head of Engineering, Information Technology, the DevOps Director will be responsible for overseeing the development and operations processes, and ensuring seamless collaboration between development and IT operations teams. This role involves strategic planning, project management, and technical leadership to enhance our continuous integration, continuous deployment, automation, and infrastructure scalability. The DevOps Director will work closely with other department heads to align DevOps strategies with business goals, fostering an environment of innovation and efficiency.

**Responsibilities**:
- Partner with the senior leadership to represent the DevOps team across the IT organization.- Build a strategy and roadmap for the DevOps team and prioritize the work accordingly.- Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the DevOps team and the broader organization.- Lead the DevOps team in establishing and executing operational policies that promote agility and scalability.- Collaborate with IT, development, and security teams to ensure a seamless, secure, and efficient software development lifecycle.- Manage and optimize infrastructure resources to achieve scalability, availability, and performance targets.- Develop and implement strategies for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), automation, and cloud infrastructure management.- Oversee the design and management of automated deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting tools.- Drive adoption of best practices in code health, testing, and maintainability.- Lead and mentor DevOps team members, fostering professional growth and development.

Technical skills and background:
- Bachelor's degree in business, data science/engineering, accounting, economics, statistics, information science or similar. MBA preferred but not required.- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in analytics and business intelligence involving data warehouse technical architecture, data modelling, infrastructure components, and reporting/analytic tools and environments, data structures and/or hands-on coding.- 5+ years’ experience as a people leader in a technical environment.- Experience successfully implementing tools to generate BI insights and influence business decisions.- Experience in Agile methodology and technical project execution.- Demonstrated team leadership: effective team management skills/mentorship skills; ability to rally the team/organization around an exciting vision; relentless drive and ability to take initiatives to try new ideas and solve complex business problems.- Computer programming skills strongly preferred.
