- **Merchandising/Marketing/Space **Planning**
- **Sales Report Analysis **- pull and build ad-hoc retail-link reports (i.e. sales, defectives, store troubleshooting and data integrity maintenance), analyze and interpret reports/data, and be able to present the insights in a timely manner to stakeholders
- **Data Integrity & Item Set Up**:

- Optimize omni-channel retailing processes and leverage support to execute best practices for shared items that are sold in-store as well as online (creation, deletion, edits, maintenance)
- **Space Planning/ Modular Builds**:

- support merchants with inline and seasonal modular program resets - including physical/digital modular building, sample coordination with vendors, analyzing data and forecasts, and post-mortem results of projects/events
- **Promotional Planning **-accurately coordinate and enter data in merchandising system for store and flyer system (i.e. forecast, item offers, pricing, flyer copy, store system, location)
- **Pricing **- organize item selection/rollback/advertising templates and ensure costing and retails are accurate for events, promotions/rollbacks, and everyday low prices for in-store and online
- **Printed/Digital Flyers**:

- data-entry, data-integrity management, flyer & digest proofing and copy, pricing audits, creative image proofing, sample/photo collection, and completion of advertising templates, post-mortem analysis
- **Vendor Income **- manage, administer, analyze, process, and troubleshoot vendor collections/payments/markdowns monthly
- **Store Communications & Recalls **- coordinate store communications and facilitate vendor/government recalls as required
- **Divisional Projects **- corporate event planning and participate in internal committee groups
- **Category Line Reviews **- require to update PowerPoint templates, sample coordination and labelling, present information to stakeholders, and note taking of action/follow ups
- **Vendor/Suppliers**
- Organize, attend, and participate in vendor program meetings, presentations, line reviews, and costing negotiations
- Onboard, train, and build trusted relationships with vendor/suppliers/distributors through both in-person and virtual meetings
- Set up new vendors and ensure data accuracy in creating new items to list in-store and/or on Walmart.ca
- End to end content on-boarding and facilitation for both in-store and online content with vendors (merchant ecommerce portal)
- Support Merchants with vendor relationship management and related compliance activities - including troubleshooting store tickets/requests, promotional planning, and coordinating samples and templates
- Provide vendor training on systems and processes as required - including retail link reporting, payment issues, merchant portal, ecommerce, and store merchandising standards
- Responsible for providing ongoing support and direction to vendor regarding Walmart processes
- **Store Operations/Supply Chain**
- Attend and facilitate weekly commodity flow meeting with Merchants, Supply Chain and Merchandise Planning to review inventory flow, item maintenance and pricing issues
- Identify and investigate store support problems and inquiries for all merchandising inquiries/issues (e.g. UPC/Store helpline issues within 24 hours, stock (over/under), modulars, creation and maintenance of store traits and retail pricing accuracy
- Assist in developing seasonal & monthly event guides and store operations playbooks in collaboration with vendors and merchandise operations
- Support compliance group on product recalls, entering pertinent information into the system for the business to act upon and submitting store communications
- Support with inventory management and maintenance
- Participate in store visits with team as required
- **Ecommerce**
- Audit and work with cross functional Ecommerce teams to optimize online vendor content - including building site collections, assortments, and working with vendors on auditing pricing and online content for accuracy and
- E-commerce (STEP) Online maintenance and item file maintenance.
- Review and process cost and retail changes online and instore for promotions

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education required, new graduates welcome to apply
- Minimum 1-2 years' relevant merchandising experience in retail, sales, or eCommerce
