We are currently accepting resumes for an Academic Administrator Assistant to join the Leadership Development Team. This is a permanent, part
- time position located in our Langley Member Centre.

**Job Summary**:
The required work schedule for this position is four-days per week (30 hours).

**Key Responsibilities**:
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position may include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Performing all duties required while fostering an approachable attitude in the organisation regarding learning and leadership skills development.
- Being available to staff across all regions of the organisation at times allowing for time-zone differences.
- Networking as needed with the departments across the organization to ensure access to information that affects other systems in the organization.
- Assisting the co-ordinator of the organization’s leadership education program in preparing, editing, and maintaining coursework, programs, reports and forms needed to co-ordinate the work of the national _leadership education program_ (LEP).
- Being familiar with and populating the data base that controls the efficient functioning of the LEP alongside HR department toward the efficient working of the learning and review system for all staff, and particularly the Field-Representatives, Representatives, Directors, and their designated Managers referred to in the LEP Purpose and Objectives.
- Provides support to the Leadership Development coordinator of the LEP with directing enquiries to the appropriate people.
- Assisting with BC writing and communication skills as time is available, and any other duties assigned by the manager of leadership development.

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s Degree, Preferably Psychology or English major and/or specialized advanced certification like extracurricular journalism/ creative writing.

**Skills and Experience**:

- 2+ years demonstrated skills and familiarity in editing, checking, and revising educational courses in post-secondary educational systems
- Experienced communication and journalistic writing skills
- Able to demonstrate polite verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office and typing skills
- Experience with data entry in processing systems
- Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships
- Be self-motivated and a self-starter
- Be able to work independently

**Reporting and Accountability**:

- This position reports to the manager of Leadership Development.
