The Opportunity
A senior leadership position and pivotal role within the organization that is mandated to formulate the overall strategies, goals and policies and take ownership of the direction and results of the Product Strategy, Management and Development teams supporting Symcor’s fraud and financial crimes (eg AML) and cyber detection and prevention product lines. The objective of this leader is to grow the current product set beyond fraud services into adjacent product verticals such as AML and Cyber detection/prevention.
This position will contribute to setting the overall strategic direction of key Symcor products and influencing and executing on the corporate goals and programs.
This role is truly hybrid and doesn’t require any mandatory in office but we encourage the senior staff to be able to travel to the offices located in Mississauga and Toronto for specific purposes.

**About the Role**:

- Drive the product strategy, road-mapping, and execution of product vision within LoB across the enterprise under the guidance of the SVP
- Lead, define, represent, and communicate product strategy to all stakeholders (both within and external to the organization)
- Lead the annual strategic planning process for product line with focus on ensuring that enterprise strategy is reflected in divisional level targets, goals, and objectives
- Develop, monitor, and report on KPIs that evaluate LoB’s performance against enterprise strategy
- Support the enterprise-wide communication of LoB’s product vision, strategy, and roadmap
- Develop OKRs and establish framework to ensure division achieves ROIs for product concepts
- Lead the development of the vision and direction of the overall company products’ roadmap and work with peers to align the company around overarching product vision
- Overall accountability for the product vision, strategy and roadmap & executing product development activities (market research, product launch, pricing), product portfolio management; product/service lifecycle management
- Oversee the data science and analytics function for the DSS division; ensure teams are leveraging knowledge, tools and insights to provide compelling results back to customers via data analytics (fraud models, trends, etc)
- Ensure product teams are equipped with the right tools and resources
- Manage and oversee the process of product innovation particular to the accountable LoB, partnering with Innovation and Strategy leaders within the broader Growth Services division
- Introduce new products to market through end to end commercialization activities (product vision, strategy, pricing, marketing and sales tactics)
- Identify trends and business opportunities within existing and/or new markets aligned with corporate strategy parameters
- Generate and validate new products and other ideas to generate greater profits
- Ensure product teams have defined and communicated product value proposition, pricing and marketing tactics working in partnership with sales and marketing teams
- Support communication of products’ value proposition both internally and externally
- Establish the requirements and ensure the implementation and on-going use of measures that will monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of the processes, methods and approaches of the LoB in delivering on its objectives
- Accountable for the successful P&L management of the products within the DSS portfolio
- Create and empower a professional product management discipline
- Lead, manage and mentor a team of product managers and related personnel to ensure the successful market penetration and ongoing success of accountable products and services
- Drive a culture of high performance and collaboration within and across functions and with other Symcor divisions.

**What You Need To Succeed**:
**Education**:

- Advanced development (post-graduate) in field(s) such as business.

**Experience**:

- 10+ years of experience
- Deep understanding of Fraud, Financial Crimes, Cyber and Financial Services industry
- Varied and deep knowledge of various fields of knowledge related to the direction, establishment of delivery protocols and measurement of the results of large and varied organizational units and/or of critical functional aspects of the organization.
- Vast expertise in integrating varied elements/functions/specialties developed through years of directing and managing complex organizational units.
- Established experience in identifying upcoming challenges and setting long-term goals.
