**The Opportunity**

We are a well-known trucking company and have immediate opening in our fast-paced Delta office. We're looking for individual who works well with others and to help with operations. The main function of this position is to ensure smooth operation of the billing department to ensure a timely flow of information and audit incoming documents to ensure our data is accurate.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Update customer web portals with up-to-date invoice information
- Follow up with drivers regarding missing required customer documents
- Audit incoming documents and perform data updates to ensure accuracy
- Verify pricing/discounts on customer invoices daily
- Maintain average daily throughout expectations and meet established deadlines
- Process payment receipts daily
- Reconcile payment discrepancies daily
- Scan, file and log accounting documents
- Identify billing problems, determine root cause, and settle on course of action via communication with clients/ dispatchers/ carriers about billing discrepancies and questions
- Assist with other accounting duties and projects when required

**Requirements**:

- 1-2 Years of experience in trucking industry experience is required
- Ability to supervise others
- Solid understanding of accounts receivables principles
- Intermediate+ Microsoft Excel skills
- Previous experience with a Xpert Dispatch system is an asset
- Highly organized and works well as a team
- Ability to multi-task and display an exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to manage high-stress situations calmly and effectively
- Ability to actively manage multiple, concurrent projects
- Positive attitude with good people skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel and word) with an ability to quickly learn new Software
