**What You’ll Do**
- Responsible for managing and addressing post settlement cash breaks for derivative transactions in a timely manner.
- Identifying root cause issues through breaks investigation and implementing changes to operating procedures to increase efficiency and minimize inherent risk to the bank.
- Solving complex reconciliation problems, working with IT partners to strengthen matching criteria and reduce manual matching.
- Develop and maintain excellent working relations with all involved stakeholders - including but not limited to external clients, Front Office, Product Control, Technology, other GWO areas.
- Responsible for providing accurate and informative analysis to the management team as requested.
- Responsible for participating and delivering on projects as they relate to the overall Derivative Settlements team.
- Support any requests for the development of audit and regulatory documentation which may be required on an ad-hoc basis.
- Measurement and improvement of Metrics and Key Risk Indicators including targets and trends.
- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Champions a high-performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment, communicating vison/values/business strategy and managing succession and development planning for the team.
**What You’ll Bring**
- University Bachelor’s degree
- Solid understanding of the Derivative products
- 5+ years’ experience in Financial Services Operations, Settlements and/or reconciliations
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
