**Description**:
**The Opportunity**

Reporting to the Mayor, the Executive Office Administrator provides a high level of confidential and self-directed executive support for the Mayor and acts as the Mayor’s liaison in specific matters including resolving issues, providing information, or ensuring tasks are completed with mínimal involvement of the Mayor. The main duties and responsibilities of the position are achieving strategic/operational priorities, intergovernmental affairs and public policy research/analysis, and executive support for the Mayor. The Executive Office Administrator, you will perform the following duties, including but not limited to:

- Coordinate and schedule all meetings specific to the Mayor; liaise with Council members.
- Prepare and maintain confidential correspondence, documents, reports, and presentations on behalf of the Mayor.
- Provide briefing of agendas and correspondence to Mayor and applicable Members of Council.
- Schedule attendance of the Mayor at speaking events (providing advanced briefing and review of applicable speaking notes in preparation).
- Corresponding with appropriate town staff to ensure accurate, concise information on matters.
- Compose responses to correspondence, sometimes of a confidential and/or sensitive nature.
- Coordinate records management system and keep all files up to date in accordance with Town’s records management guidelines and policies.
- Review incoming reports, replying to/initiating action on correspondence and all routine matters not requiring the personal attention of the Mayor.
- Perform additional duties and undertake special projects as assigned.

This position offers a salary range of $75,892.79 - $93,006.93.
