Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and customer service-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Manager. As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our patients and visitors. If you have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
- Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar
- Collect patient information and update records accurately
- Verify insurance coverage and process payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry
- Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate information about our services
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations of the office

Experience
- Previous experience working with phone systems and handling high call volumes
- Proven experience as a front desk clerk or receptionist in a medical or dental office setting is preferred
- Strong proofreading skills to ensure accuracy in patient records and other documents
- Excellent phone etiquette and the ability to handle difficult or sensitive situations with professionalism
- Familiarity with computerized office systems and electronic medical records (EMR)
- Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute is desired

**Salary**: From $24.35 per hour
