**What you will do**:
The **Accounting Technician** will be responsible to provide accounting support to our financial team. Responsible for the complete accounting cycle of various entities, the accounting technician will be closely involved in the bookkeeping, reporting, and tax processing.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare journal entries in accounting software
- Prepare payroll for self-employed workers (i.e. massage therapists)
- Prepare monthly tax reports
- Prepare month-ends, year-ends, and all other related files
- Assist with any monthly or annual audit activities,
- Perform required bank reconciliations
- Ensure accounting policies and best practices are followed

**To be successful in this position you will need**:

- A minimum of a college degree in accounting, business administration or equivalent
- Minimum of **3 (three) years’ **accounting experience
- Excellent knowledge of the MS Office suite, particularly Excel with the ability to manipulate large data files with macros and pivot tables
- Bilingualism (French and English) is essential to support our operations outside of Quebec
- Experience with accounting software (Sage, Acomba etc.)
