The Information Technology Services Division (ITS) is focused on addressing the needs of all external customers and the internal process needs of all BC Assessment (BCA) divisions; the team manages the development and operations of the Corporate Project Management Office (PMO), IMIT governance processes, and the development and management of the corporate Enterprise Architecture. ITS directs the development and ongoing evolution of the Corporate IMIT Plan (multi-year) which provides direction for the prioritization and development of more detailed plans. ITS supports and executes ITS Programs to meet BCA’s strategic goals through the implementation and enhancement of technology.

Information Technology Services (ITS) Programs is part of the Programs, Planning and Architecture (PP&A) team within the Information Technology Services (ITS) Division. The PP&A team is primarily located at our Uptown office _and leads the _development and implementation of the corporate strategic direction for IMIT initiatives, as well as the supporting plan for the ITS Division.

**Job Overview**

Reporting to the Director, Programs, Planning & Architecture, the Manager ITS Programs leads the development, and ongoing evolution of BC Assessment’s Corporate IMIT Plan (multi-year) which provides direction for the prioritization and development of more detailed plans. In this role, the Manager oversees the development, delivery and ongoing operation of the IMIT solutions recommended in the IMIT Plan. The Manager leads the development and ongoing monitoring of specific or overall IMIT portfolios that maximize enterprise value and IMIT investments and manages and develops the information management / information technology governance framework, policies and standards. The Manager plays a pivotal role in the IMIT governance to develop, implement and ensure the ongoing management of effective processes of stakeholder requests are captured, evaluated and prioritized. The Manager, ITS Programs is central in leading a team that assists Information & Technology Services and other Divisions with implementation of technical solutions by providing advice and direction on technical matters and ensures that new or updated technical solutions are aligned with the IMIT plan. To achieve outstanding results, the Manager works in close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization and plans and develops decision making processes that are aligned with corporate processes to ensure business needs are addressed in a timely manner.
