Backorder Coordinator

The backorder Coordinator will report directly to the Asst. Plant Manager. The backorder Coordintor is responsible for verification of missing panels, glass, and any other material. As well as updating and maintaining a daily log for all backorders. Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
Education
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent.

Years of Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing environment; and
- Experience with window tags, positions and materials is considered an asset.

Working Conditions
- Manufacturing setting;
- On Site work environment involves some exposure to hazards of physical risks that require knowledge of and adherence to basic safety procedures;
- Work environment requires PPE; and
- Flexible to work approved overtime as required.

Junior Level
- Proficient in Microsoft and Outlook;
- Flexible and able to adapt to fluctuations in the production schedule;
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment;
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills;
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
- Demonstrate State's core values and work in a team environment.

Job Specific Duties
- Verify with Purchasing or Receiving if material items are missing;
- Send requests of missing material to Purchasing
- Update and maintain a log of all backorders which include received and unrecieved material;
- Verify any missing panels, glass and spandrel;
- Send any information of Purchasing regarding orders that require materials;
- Follow up with Purchasing and Receiving to ensure all items have been recieved accordingly
- Monitor and review production plan often;
- Assist with day-to-day operation's needs;
- Assist with coordinating;
- Assist with planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay;
- Communicate with the purchasing department on material levels daily;
- Maintain a good working knowledge of company policies and procedures; and
- Any other tasks assigned by the Assistant Plant Manager.
