**Position Overview**

The clinical trials recruiter will also be responsible for entering basic information into secure electronic medical record software in compliance with federal and provincial privacy laws.

**Primary Responsibilities**

Prepare recruitment strategy plans and contingency plans to ensure recruitment goals for studies are met within specified time periods

Experience with working within study budgets and managing recruitment plans accordingly

Prepare and execute recruitment marketing campaigns to raise brand awareness in the community

Knowledge of social media advertising and website maintenance to promote clinical trial unit in local area

Work in conjunction with the study director, coordinator and medical staff to ensure the smooth transition between study recruitment and participation.

Conduct telephone eligibility screening of potential volunteers for inclusion or exclusion in all phases of clinical trials which includes but is not limited to:

- Reviewing screening criteria,
- Providing an overview of the study,
- Responding to volunteer preliminary questions,
- Capturing brief medical and medication history of volunteers
- Completion of required paperwork

Provide recruitment metrics to the project manager on a weekly basis during study recruitment periods

Responsible for participant stipends, tracking and reconciliation

Ensure compliance with appropriate Nutrasource SOP’s and GCP and ICH guidelines

Other duties as may be required & as training and experience allow

Maintains an attitude and philosophy consistent with the Company's standards

Excellent interpersonal and public relation skills with ability to work well in a team

Knowledge of MS Office

Excellent computer skills

**Qualifications**

Minimum high school diploma, or equivalent

Experience in marketing is an asset

Demonstrated proficiency in English, with excellent oral and written communications skills

Clinical research experience or training is an asset

Experience with medical record data entry in a medical clinic or clinical research setting is an asset

Available monday - friday 8-5
