**Compensation**:$46,000 - $50,000/year (commensurate with experience)

**About the Role**:
The Materials Coordinator contributes to material movements including assisting in receiving, staging, inventory control, on-dock QA, cycle counts, safety, and facility cleanliness. This role is responsible for return to stocks, pick analysis, pack requests, and Accuracy and efficient inventory management is crucial to the position. This role also acts as backup for the Facility Supervisor, Pack Team Lead, and Warehouse Operations Lead. It’s a small facility with mínimal staff. Everyone wears multiple hats
**Some of the things you’ll get paid to do**:
**Operations**:
- Primary resource for material movements, return to stock, pick analysis, and pack requests - physically and in Business Central
- Backup resource for receiving, staging, inventory control, on-dock QA, and cycle counts
- Facilitates problem solving by actively communicating with Site Supervisor, CX, Supply Chain, and Logistics
- Responsible for determining and ritualizing optimal material flow within the facility
- Backup to ensure pack requirements are staged accurately and on time by actively coordinating with the Pack Team Lead
- Backup to ensure daily reports are completed by food packing team
- Assist with packing as needed
- Occasional filling in for Facility Supervisor, Warehouse Operations Lead, and/or Pack Team Lead
**Training & Development**:
- Coach employees through effective communication, training and recognition
- Ensures that all employees are adequately trained to perform duties in a safe and efficient manner. This includes both backup and cross-training.
- Scheduling training within the Learning Management System
- Update and maintain the department skills matrix
- Actively participate in the development of training documentation
- Other responsibilities as assigned
**General Responsibilities**:
- Ensure that best practices are being followed to minimize waste
- Adhere to distribution plan; assisting in reassignment of personnel; accomplishing goals, establishing priorities, and resolving problems
- Maintains quality service by contributing to the establishment of and adherence to RFRK’s policies and standards
- Ensure proper temperature control of perishable products
- Ensure completion of the daily quality control module in BC
- Support First In/First Out product rotation practices are adhered to
- Oversee and ensure proper housekeeping of workspaces, and cleaning and sanitation procedures for machines and equipment
- Timely communication of all pertinent information concerning production, problems, and related action plans with all relevant stakeholders/departments
- Daily collection of data for reporting purposes as directed by manager
- Other tasks as required
- Contribute to cleaning the entire facility
- Pre-op and Post-op checks executed as assigned by facility supervisor
**Business Central Administration**:
- Adhere to Inventory control and movement requirements.
- Complete transaction posting where required
- Maintain and review replenishment/pick location inventory
- Execute material movements, return to stocks, cycle counts, pick analysis, pack requests, and occasionally fulfillment
