The **_HR Generalist_** **is responsible for successfully supporting all aspects of HR as well as keeping the senior management team on track. Reporting directly to the President, you will work closely with the CEO and Sales Manager as well.

**What you will do**:

- Manage full cycle of recruitment, from hire to onboarding
- Manage performance, employee relations and employee life cycle with supervisors
- Stay up-to-date on legislation and HR Best Practices in Canada
- Maintain HR Information Systems (BambooHR and HR Downloads)
- Work closely with accounting on payroll
- Maintain benefits program for the company
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures across the company
- Provide advice and day-to-day support to the management team and employees
- Create, implement, and maintain employee incentive and engagement programs
- Assist with the administration of the Health and Safety program, including active participation in the Joint Health and Safety Committee, accident, incident investigation, and assisting with risk-assessments
- WSIB, STD, and LTD case management; manage workplace injuries, disability claims, and the early and safe return to work program

**Must Haves**:

- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources or a related field and/or 2+ Years experience in HR field
- Maintain confidentiality of data
- Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal and well-developed communication skills
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office)
- Ability to work quickly and with urgency
- Flexible and able to handle changing demands
- Self-starter and ability to follow through independently
- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19

**Nice to Have**:

- Experience working with senior level management
- Experience maintaining HR Systems and filing
- Reporting and data analysis experience
- Experience with planning, executing Board meetings and taking minutes
- Enjoy event planning for internal and external events
