As such, the requirement to continuously improve quality and safety is inherent in all aspects of this position.

Reporting to the Lead, Workplace Experience, the Advisor, Workplace Experience works closely with all members of the Workplace Experience team. The Advisor creates and supports employee initiatives and programs designed to elevate PHSA’s employee experience and improve retention. The position also develops, recommends and implements employee experience programs and strategies that support the creation of workplace cultures by valuing and appreciating the contribution of employees and ensuring they are heard. In addition, the Advisor provides leadership and direction to team members by advising and providing guidelines in situations requiring interpretation and/or providing additional information to assist in making and processing decisions. Supervises staff, coordinates workflow/workload of the team, and works closely with the Lead on recruitment and performance management, including conducting performance reviews. Coordinates training and orientation of team members as needed.

**What you’ll do**
- Lead and drive workplace experience programs designed to improve the engagement and retention of employees on a large and high volume scale.
- Provide leadership, guidance and supervision to staff using effective leadership techniques (e.g., coaching, mentoring, skills and leadership development and performance management, including performance reviews.) Participate in staffing decisions related to recruitment, retention, discipline, and termination.
- Manage the activities of staff and resources to ensure effective utilization, adherence to standards of quality, and effective and timely services delivery. Provide training and orientation to team members.
- Draft and participate in the development of the budget, produces recommendations, monitors expenses, reports on variances, and recommends and implements remedial action, in collaboration with leadership.
- Engage and lead staff by creating a work environment that motivates and inspires team work that delivers high employee engagement. Establish clear definitions of responsibility for each employee, ensure adherence to efficiency, quality and service standards, and provide coaching and guidance, and review workload assignments. Foster a team culture of mutual respect, trust.
- Work with various colleagues and stakeholders on workplace experience programs and supports the development of safe, inclusive and meaningful programs that are consistent and flexible enough to meet local needs.
- Drive employee retention and engagement by analyzing and interpreting data and employee feedback to provide insights that are used to drive meaningful change.
- Ensure high functioning and impactful employee experience programs across the employee journey. Align with corporate site and ensure best practices across all campaigns and search engines.
- Leverage online technology to improve consistency and efficiency of large scale programs.
- Create strategy and recommendations for recognition and workplace experience programs in alignment with Workplace Experience objectives.
- Build and ensure consistent systems to support data tracking and analysis of metrics and employee feedback, in line with workplace experience strategies. Analyze trends and create regular reports.
- Drive employee experience projects and upgrades, including research, analysis, and recommendations.
- Audit and analyze existing tools and recommend solutions that increase efficiency and produce ROI for Workplace Experience and PHSA as a whole.
- Partner with Communications on launch of programs and initiatives.
- Recommend improvements to programs and initiatives by using leading practice research and feedback and data to inform recommendations.
- Manage administration of contracts with vendors. Build and maintain strong working relationships with external vendors and stakeholders to enhance PHSA program development and implementation.
- Provide support and guidance to clients by proactively and reactively resolving issues.
- Conduct special projects as assigned or required.

**What you bring**

A level of education, training and experience equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field plus five (5) years of recent, related experience in developing employee experience/retention initiatives and programs such as onboarding, recognition, off-boarding, and employee voice.
- Skilled in data analytics and how to use them to drive change.
- Project management for an organization-wide project e.g. onboarding, off-boarding, engagement surveys, recognition required.
