Job Summary:
Reporting to the Manager of GSE and Facilities, this individual is responsible for the coordination of repairs and maintenance of all Ground Service Equipment (GSE) and Facilities Building Equipment outside of YTZ (outstations).

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Coordinate GSE repairs and preventive maintenance (PM) at Porter outstations.
- Coordinate Facility repairs and equipment preventive maintenance at Porter outstations.
- Travel to outstations for inventory checks, inspections and repairs as necessary.
- Obtain competitive service and repair quotes.
- Set up new vendors at stations for Porter equipment service and repairs.
- Engage with new and existing vendors to ensure all GSE and Facility equipment have scheduled maintenance programs and speedy repair services available.
- Actively monitor and update CMMS software (Hippo) for all work orders.
- Ensure preventative maintenance programs are performed as per equipment manuals.
- Coordinate contractors with outstation Porter GSE and Facility using departments.
- Monitor and report on outstation PM programs.
- Provide monthly performance updates.
- Create unit repair and maintenance cost reports from past data to identify equipment replacement suggestions.
- Provide technical support for vendors and Porter team members GSE at outstations.
- Schedule tasks to vendors, while coordinating with Porter station departments, to ensure equipment is maintained and tracked.
- Order GSE parts as needed for repairs and maintenance.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external customers.
- Obtain proof of work work to ensure compliance with plans and standards.
- Recommend and participate in long range planning.
- Aid YTZ GSE team when necessary with repairs, maintenance and inventory tracking/ordering.
- Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy.
- Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Strong Ground Service Equipment and Facility Equipment knowledge
- 310T/310S license would be an asset
- Strong troubleshooting
- Ability to learn new technology, service procedures and specifications
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and good working habits
- Able to work outside office hours when required
- Class “G” or higher driver’s license with a clean Driver’s Abstract
- Excellent physical condition
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in Microsoft Office and CMMS programs
- Dependability (must have a clear attendance record and reliable on time reporting for work)
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances
