Your Opportunity

One Permanent Full Time Position.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Organizational Transformation, and partnering closely with the business, you will provide transformation and change strategies to support and align our organizational initiatives around digitalization, the evolution of our culture and the employee experience, and our corporate strategy. This will entail being the champion of an employee centric model that looks at innovative and inclusive ways to maximize employee adoption while embedding organizational change management (OCM) practices to achieve the desired business outcomes.

You will contribute to our team by- Developing and implementing a Transformational Change Management Office.- Developing, advising, and implementing comprehensive engagement and change management strategies to move impacted stakeholders through the whole change journey from awareness, understanding, action and advocacy.- Evaluating and ensuring organizational change readiness and anticipating and recommending a mitigation plan for resistance.- Managing and engaging people in a collaborative team setting on high-pressure, fast-paced projects.- Coaching sponsor, leaders and change teams in human-centric design, agile, lean methodologies, and organizational change capabilities and new ways of working to facilitate business outcomes.- Facilitating change management learning sessions for the leadership team.- Analyzing problems or issues in a systematic way to identify underlying causes. Engaging in a range of approaches to generate resolutions. Providing holistic and practical solutions.- Enabling the establishment of effective change teams - designing and commissioning, clarifying requirements, confirming outcomes, and establishing effective ways of working.- Conducting an impact assessment for stakeholders affected by the change items. Regularly reviewing the stakeholder community to assess potential change fatigue.- Identifying and providing leadership for change agents and change advocates within the stakeholder community by involving trusted informal leaders to enhance the employee experience, creating employee understanding, and influencing successful organizational change.- Creating important, explanatory information from complex quantitative or qualitative data (e.g., adoption and utilization data).- Keeping current on research and trends in change management/business transformation and how it impacts the future of work and the employee experience.

What you will bring to the role

Education- Completed Bachelor's Degree, ideally in Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Business Management, change management training or related discipline.- Education equivalency may be considered.

Skills/ Technical- Extensive experience working on facet of change management projects that focus on technology, organizational outcomes, and human resources programs.- Experience working and educating others in agile, lean, design thinking, and organizational change practices.- Strong facilitation, influencing and communication skills with the ability to shape thinking, confidence to lead change and challenge dominant thinking and mindsets that need change.- Strong knowledge of project and change management and organizational development.- Extensive experience in working with diverse teams and incorporating inclusive strategies that focus on the employee.

Working Conditions:
- Hybrid Office/Work from home position, with possible very mínimal travel to meet business users at Capital Power facilities or other offices.
