Under the general direction of the Manager, Value Management Office Department, the Portfolio & Performance Management
Supervisor will provide financial oversight and management of the Digital & Technology (D&T) portfolio of investments through
planning, assessment and articulation of value, portfolio assembly and monitoring, including budget management and performance
management to ensure Enterprise and D&T strategic objectives are achieved in the most optimal way. This role will contribute to the
To achieve this, the Portfolio & Performance Management supervisor will supervise and direct the work of a small team of portfolio
Framework (CVF) and prioritization and sequencing of the portfolio.
**_ Responsibilities:_**
- Provide oversight of the portfolio management practice for Digital & Technology investments, ensuring alignment across
business units and enterprise governance
- In collaboration with D&T's Business Partnership Department, manage and oversee the D&T portfolio of investments from
initiation to project closeout, including sequencing of investments to maximize business value
- Lead the scoring of investments and support the prioritization framework, recommending improvements and ensuring
alignment to enterprise principles
- Ensure major dependencies are identified and tracked and that proper communications and change management needs are
identified
- Lead the evaluation of various investment scenarios and optimize the investment portfolio by selecting and prioritizing the
project scopes, schedules and budgets from options provided by investment proponents to deliver a portfolio which balances
cost, performance, and risk
- Lead portfolio review meetings with D&T Directors and other stakeholders to clearly provide information related to portfolio
performance
- Supervise a team with a diverse skillset in the delivery of D&T investment portfolio management; budgeting and analysis; and
performance management
- Prepare reports on the investment portfolio and prioritization framework and assist senior leadership to direct resources in a
way that aligns with D&T's strategic goals
- Lead the preparation of capital and operating financial budgets, outlook and variance explanations on behalf of the business
unit to ensure best practices and accuracy
- Assume the lead performance management role, on behalf of the business unit, for the development, preparation,
coordination and data collection of Key
- Performance Indicators for the D&T business unit, divisions and departments
- Monitors and reviews business cases, costs, budgets, staffing requirements, resources and benefits realization plans for large
- scale projects- Collaborate with Finance to continuously monitor, analyze, and report the financial outcomes for the D&T portfolio and keep

**_ Qualifications:_**
- Chartered Professional Accountant designation with four years' experience, including three years' experience related to
portfolio and performance management
- Professional Member in good standing with Chartered Professional Accountants of Manitoba

- Graduate with a Business or related four-year degree from a university of recognized standing with a minimum of seven years'
experience, including three years' experience related to portfolio and performance management
- Superior interpersonal, relationship building and communication skills
